CONDUCT & DISCIPLINE
All students are expected to co-operate with the College Administration in
creating a climate of self-discipline and
respect for rules and in building up cordial relationships in the campus.
Students must abide by the rules and regulations
of the College that are currently in force and that may be formulated from
time to time
College Timing:

Normal
working hours of the College is from 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. on all working
days.
Students are
not expected to meet any visitor from outside during this period.
Written Communication:
All letters of communication from the students to the College should be
addressed to the Principal, countersigned
and routed through Heads of the Department. The hostellers must get their
letters countersigned by the warden also.
Dress:
Students in the Campus are expected to be
dressed properly befitting the decorum expected from members
During the working hours of the college, Male students are advised to wear
light colored pants with their shirts neatly
tucked in and should wear shoes, avoiding slippers, and girls are advised to
Churidhar with Dhupata and shoes,
avoiding slippers.
While in workshops and laboratories, the dress regulation is Navy Blue pants
and nayy Blue Half Sleeved Shirt with
leather shoes for boys and Navy Blue long over coat with leather shoes for
girls and in the laboratories white
overcoat for all students.
Cell phone:
Use of Cell Phone is strictly prohibited inside the
campus.
Identity Card:
In the event of loss of Identity Card, the matter shall
be immediately reported in writing to the Principal
The card is the property of the College and is
non-transferable.
Requirements of Examinations and Attendance:
The University conducts the First year Examination normally in the month of
April/May and semester examinations
ordinarily in the months of November and May during the second, third and
fourth years.

Candidate shall be permitted to appear for the
University examination only if:
The candidate secures 75% of the attendance in terms
of the total number of working days.
The candidate earns a progress certificate from the
Head of the Institution for having satisfactorily completed
the course of study prescribed in the semester/year as required by the
regulations.
Ragging:
Ragging is strictly prohibited in and outside the college campus. Any student
who is guilty of this offence shall be
suspended or dismissed without any notice depending on the severity of the
case. Moreover the matter shall be
reported to the nearest police station for suitable action. As a preventive
measure an undertaking shall be obtained
from the student and their parents.
A student, who is expelled, as a result of disciplinary action, will forfeit his
/ her entire fees paid to the college.
