The Electronics and Communication Engineering department is one among the three departments that were started at the beginning of the college in the year of 2001. The Department offers undergraduate program with the intake of 60 students, and Post graduate program (Specialization - Applied Electronics) introduced in 2010 with the intake of 18 students. State-of-the-art laboratories, a separate department library and highly qualified faculty make the department unique.

The department subscribes a number of National and International journals. The students and the Staffs are encouraged to publish their work in various Conferences. Every year the department organizes Technical Symposium, where students from other colleges present their work through paper presentations and exchange ideas. Experts from Industries and Academicians from premier Institutes are invited to deliver guest lectures about cutting edge technologies. Industrial visits and In-plant trainings are arranged for the students for industrial exposure.
