Information Technology Department alias innovative technology started during the inception of RGCE in the year 2001. We have excellent faculty who provide quality education to the students. HOD-IT was the co-ordinator for an Inter Department Faculty Development Programme on “Effective Teaching using Blended Learning Methods” for a duration of 5days in Nov 2009. IT department conducted National Level Technical Symposium ISHTA-09, which had participants from around 26 colleges.



Our students are a bundle of talent and shine wherever they go. Students have won prizes in paper presentations and various cultural events held at VIT, SRM University, Anna University, and MIT etc. Students have displayed their talents in sports by winning medals in weight lifting and Judo in National and State level competitions

Our students have been placed in various reputed organizations like Cognizant, HCL, Amazon.com, ValueSource etc. Many aspiring students are pursuing higher studies in reputed Universities abroad.



IT department faculty work as a team in nurturing the students technically and enhance their soft skills and we encourage our students in shaping their future to face the challenges of the world ahead.
